Psychological Evaluation & Testing

Dr. Freedman performs a wide variety of clinical evaluations for children, adolescents and adults. Such evaluations are designed to support treatment provided by other professionals or answer specific, non-legal questions. Examples of such evaluations include diagnostic assessments, evaluations to assist in treatment planning, educational assessments including kindergarten readiness, and assessments of developmental disability.

Dr. Freedman uses structured and semi-structured interview protocols to gather consistent historical and clinical information. He utilizes structured assessment tools to collect psychological information in specific areas.

Dr Freedman is trained in the use many contemporary psychological tests. He relies on assessment tools which have been empirically derived and compared to a normative sample, that have been subjected to peer review, and are designed to assess specific issues.
